Description |
The mica is produced in the lower Susa Valley (Turin).
It is a mixture of pork and bacon, pressed, not bagged but covered with a layer of black pepper and rye flour.
The shape is cylindrical with a diameter of 15-16 cm, a height of 5 cm and weighing about 900 g.
When cut, the color is pink mixed with white fat.
The consistency is firm, the aroma pronounced.
